    Hello there,

    I remember that guy asked me to pay WordPress for the Business Plan with a free domain ($300 billed manually) on Aug 31, 2022. I think he registered my lavangnailspa.com domain under his account. And then I cancelled this order. WordPress returned to my card $282.00 on Sep 2, 2022. That guy said WordPress charged $18.00 for the domain fee. These 2 transactions still show up in my bank account.

    Hi there,

    There is a very short refund period for domains (4 days) whereas plans themselves have more latitude (7 or 14 days, depending on plan) so it can sometimes be the case that when the plan is cancelled a partial refund if given, and the domain remains active on the account.

    Given the fact that the refund you saw was less than the cost of the Business plan, it’s likely that lavangnailspa.com is still active under the account. We are not able to confirm this here in this public posting since you are not logged into the account the domain is under.

    For legal reasons, we need to hear from the account that purchased the domain, and then we are much more able to help. Are you still in contact with the person that created the initial account?
