Renewal by admin, not origianl owner

  Looks like part of my site’s domain needs to be renewed. I am trying to do so {compu-dummy}, and am guided back to a domain page where I am supposed to click on “Renew”

  There is no renew tab to click on.

  I am not the original owner, but am listed as an admin. Is this normal?

  If so, can the original owner transfer his rights to me? I’d like to get the site back in order and able to post on it, our club has some events to promote.

  You need to be the owner of the domain in order to renew it. I can transfer the upgrade to your account, but I’ll need to receive the request from the owner.

  Thank you! I have sent the owner an email, I’m sure he wont have a problem.

  When I become owner, will I receive email notification in advance of these deadlines?

  Yes, once the upgrade is transferred to you, you’ll receive all renewal notifications.

  You can also see the status of your upgrades at Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades

  Check there – DON’T trust the email.
