  Can anyone answer my questions of the renewal fee?
  I don’t seem to know where to direct this kind of question.

  Thank you for the reply. I was trying to contact someone in word press staff to explain why the big jump in the renewal charge. We are speaking about more than 50% increase. All I was told is that:
  “This amount reflects recent changes in pricing due to adjustments in tax and foreign exchange rates.” To me this is very ambiguous.

  Secondly I want to know I will be asked what happens
  on June 24, 2015 when I get automatically renewed. When and how do I have to make the payment? Can I use paypal for instance to pay for the renewal?

  I appreciate your offer to help me and I notice you are are a member. I am not sure if you are in a position to answer my questions if not can you help direct me to someone who could?

  Hi Morry,

  WordPress.com periodically adjusts prices according to changes in exchange rates (between US dollars and other currencies) and adjustments in local tax rates. The difference you’re seeing is largely due to the change in the exchange rate between US and Canadian dollars over time.

  Since your domain is set to auto renew, you don’t have to do anything. WordPress.com will attempt to automatically renew the upgrade for you, using the same payment details you used when you originally purchased your domain.

  If you’d like to renew the upgrade yourself (for example, to change what payment details are used for that renewal) you can do that from your My Upgrades page. There, you can disable auto renew and manually renew the domain when you’re ready.

  I have upgraded my pay pal account with current information. I went to My Upgrade page but I don’t see Pay Pal there only Credit Card update. Please advice.

  You can disable the auto renew option on your domain, and then use the “Renew Now” button to manually renew your domain with your PayPal account. Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
