Renewal from a different email address

    Two years ago when I set up my WordPress.com site a friend helped me get it set up on his computer and he paid for it with his credit card. I paid him by check. Last year I had this same problem and I think he had to renew it for me through his computer. Again I paid him by check. I have tried to find out how I can have it transferred to my name, to my computer, and to my credit card. My friend emailed me the RENEWAL NOTICE today from WordPress.com. I cannot figure how to transfer it to my computer. Is there anyone who can help me find the solution to this?

    Hi there,

    The owner of a domain can transfer it to another WordPress.com account. There are step by step instructions in this guide.

    Your friend (the owner of the purchases) will need to log into their WordPress.com account and reply here to request moving any other upgrades. This is something we will need to do for them.
