    I don’t do anything with this site, other than keep it as an archive for a couple dozen newspapers articles and columns I had written over many years. Is there a benefit to having a paid $13/year account, as opposed to a free one? (It’s renewal time) Thank you. – dan

    Hi! It looks like this would be regarding a ‘domain connection’ (information linked here) associated with your site; however when I check it, it doesn’t appear that any such domain actually exists.

    You can see the domain connection in your purchases here:
    https://wordpress.com/me/purchases

    If the domain in question was never registered by you, and subsequently never connected to your site, then it does sound like you wouldn’t need to keep that domain connection renewed!
