Renewal notice: Not sure if it's genuine or not

    I received a renewal notice from (email visible only to moderators and staff). I know that there are scams that frequently circulate the internet. I just wanted to find out if this was one such scam, or if it really was time for me to renew. According to the information in my dashboard, my blog meganorussell.com is set to renew on July 7th, but this email is saying that the site will expire on August 5th if I don’t renew.
    Please let me know the best course of action to take.

    Hi Megan,

    I can see that you went in and renewed your domain yourself. That’s just fine. We send out notifications between one and two months prior to expiration for some of our products (especially domains) to reduce the chance that the domain gets lost due to failed billing.

    I’m sorry for any worry this might have caused you! Let me know however if you have any other concerns.
