Renewal of Domain

  I am trying to renew the domain for 404girlscouts.org. The problem that we have is that the original creator of the domain is no longer with the organization, as new editors are assigned every couple of years. How can I go about renewing it, as it has already expired. Ironically, I renewed it last year and the receipt indicates that that was to be autodrafted and since has not been and now our website is not accessible during our busiest time of the year. Any assistance as immediate as possible is appreciated.

  Is there NOT a way to call and speak with someone about this issue over the phone? I have a website down that is needed by all the Girl Scouts in our Service Unit….

  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

  @feliciacampa – what is the REAL URL beginning with http of the site you need help with, the site linked to your name loads fine but is empty – nobody can give you accurate help without the URL

  @falamedia your issue is a little more complicated than expired domain mapping because the domain registration itself is at stake. You can renew the domain here so that it won’t show as expired:
  https://wordpress.com/my-upgrades

  Then you can transfer the domain too, if you’d like, using these steps:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/transfer-domain-registration/

  If you renew the domain first, note that the extra year will be transferred along with the registration.
