delsocialmedia.com/ is in the redemption period.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/#redemption-period tells you what is involved in regaining it. In part,the domain name can still be renewed, but there is an $80.00 redemption fee required in addition to the normal renewal cost. (This is standard practice for domain registrars.)
which you will have to pay before your domain can be recovered.

Thanks for the initial reply, I don’t know how to reach WordPress people so they can help me out, I’m pretty sure that was on auto renewal so i was not expecting it to expire on this way, i hope they can help me out. waiting for them

delsocialmedia.com expired on 2017-03-10 and is currently in the redemption period:
The good news is that you can still try to recover your domain, however, an $80 redemption fee will be added to the regular domain renewal cost of $18.
If you agree to these costs I can generate a payment request for the amount. Once that has been paid, we can start the process of trying to get your domain back. Should the recovery fail after you’ve paid the redemption fee, that fee is refunded in full.
If you do not want to pay the fee, you can wait until the domain is released but you may not be able to get it back if it is purchased at auction during this time.
Please let me know what you would like to do as soon as you can.

Is it possible to have a discounted redemption cost? as i really thought it was on auto renewal which i have chosen before, let me know if there is this option, it would be very much appreciated.

Yes, the domain was set to auto renew. I checked your account and it looks like your card was declined — you may want to follow up with you bank.
We sent an email to the address on your account to let you know auto renewal had failed. Please check the email address on your Account Settings page is up to date:
https://wordpress.com/me/account
If that is the correct email address, it’s possible the emails got caught in your spam filter.
Is it possible to have a discounted redemption cost?
I’m afraid we can’t reduce the fee — this is charged by the registry to recover the domain and is a cost we have to pay.

Yes please lets proceed to recovery, the reminders are on the another side of the main inbox, and I was pretty sure it was on auto renewal, thus the big confusion. let me know how I can pay on the new payment request.
