I want to renew my domain koreanheroes.net
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That domain expired 2nd April and is now in the Redemption period. Staff may be able to recover your domain but it is now more complicated and more costly. The Registrar requests an extra $80 as well as the renewal fee once the domain gone into redemption.

I have added modlook to the tag box on the right and hopefully in due course a member of staff will give you your options. -
Hi @malleusjl, @themagicrobot is correct: the domain has an $80 redemption fee at this point, in addition to the renewal cost.
Do you want me to set up an invoice for that, or do you want to try waiting for it to finish expiring? The whole expiration process takes a few months, and there’s a significant risk of losing the domain.

Unfortunately I wasn’t aware of any this. The fee $80 is the cost of ignorance I suppose. Is there anything else I should know?

Ah and I see what happened… my credit card details were not updated, so the renewal didn’t go through… Lesson learned.
