Renewal of Domain Name

    Hi, I got a notice about renewing my domain name, which is expiring on Dec 15 2015. I have automatic renewal set up and so want to know when will the renewal happen …

    Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi there,
    Usually the renewal process is begun 30 days before expiration so if anything goes wrong we do not lose the domain as there is time to rectify any errors. See: https://wordpress.com/my-upgrades/

    Hi,

    I have a domain renewal coming up on Dec 13th, which was for some odd reason not automatically renewed and so last week I upgraded my plan to the premium tier thinking that would take care of the renewal issue as well..

    But now I saw a notice that my desirantsnraves.com domain is expiring and in its stead I have desirantsnraves.net domain .. and I guess I still need to pay for privacy and domain mapping …

    Can you please tell me how to resolve this issue .. I want to keep my .com domain address and would like to have it paid under my premium plan rather than paying separately for it .. I do not want the .net domain …

    Any and all help you can offer would be great .. also is there a way I could talk to somebody on the phone to discuss this issue?

    There is no phone support. When we need Staff help with issues Volunteers cannot resolve like this one we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads.     Hi there,

    It looks like you’ve managed to renew desirantsnraves.net, as I can see a payment made earlier today and the expiry date now shows as 1 December 2016.

    desirantsnraves.com belongs to a different account, but the same blog. That domain also appears to have been renewed, as it’s showing as expiring on 13 December 2016. It looks like last year you made two payments, so at that time the domain was renewed for two years.

    Let me know if you have any more questions, but to me it looks like you’re set for the next year :)
