Renewal of domain name problems.

  I can’t renew my domain name (which was themariachenensemble.com and expired January 14). The renew button doesn’t appear in my account. This is possibly because a friend helping me set up the original mapping of the domain name. When I go to the page WordPress directs me to for renewal, there is no ‘renew’ button next to the domain expiry information.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Only the account that owns an upgrade can renew it – your friend needs to transfer the upgrade to you or renew it them self – there is a new option for the upgrade to transfer the upgrade (you friend should see that option when they mouse over the upgrade) – – or they can log into here and in small clear words ask for the staff to transfer the domain to you

  Hi there,

  This is correct. Right now you are listed as an administrator on the blog, but your friend is listed as the owner of the blog and the upgrade. You will need to contact the owner and ask him/her to renew it for you or to transfer at least the upgrade to you.
