Renewal of expired domain

We urgently need to renew an expired domain with WordPress. We are not able to update our contact information in the Dashboard (it only saves the old contact information for a person that is no longer with our organization), and we have not be able to renew thusfar. Thank you for any help in advance.

Staff cannot simply transfer a blog to you that you do not own nor can they arbitrarily make you an Admin based on your say so. You need to contact the owner of the blog. There is only one option for transferring a blog to another username account. Every blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the username account who registered the blog under that username account and associated email address.The blog`s owner can transfer a blog from one username account A to another username account B that person must first log in under the username account A that owns the blog you want to transfer to the other username account.
Next A adds the other username account B as an Admin of the blog.

Thank you for your reply. I am already an administrator on the blog, but am still not able to make any changes. Any thoughts for how we can renew?

Hi there,
When it comes to upgrades, only the owner of the upgrade can actually renew it regardless of any other Administrators. Since it was another account (a different username) that purchased the domain, only that account can renew it. Please contact the owner of the upgrade and have them renew it.
