Renewal of expired domain

  Hi!

  I bought the domain http://sirarsalih.com from WordPress last year, unfortunately auto renewal did not work since I got a new VISA card and the domain got expired. The registrar of the domain is now Wild West Domains.

  I need to renew http://sirarsalih.com, how can I do this? Right now the name servers changed so my site is not working. I need to renew it and then change the name servers from WordPress. Time is of the essence here it seems.

  Hello there,

  I can see that this thread has been tagged modlook for staff to assist, and that you have been sure to provide the domain URL that requires renewal.

  From doing a search of whois, I can see that your domain is now in a redemption period.

  Redemption Period

  After the grace period ends, your domain enters the redemption period, the length of which can vary. This means the domain name can still be renewed, but there is an $80.00 redemption fee required in addition to the normal renewal cost. (This is standard practice for domain registrars.)

  It’s important to note that during the redemption phase, domains can be included in expired-domain auctions, where another party can bid on your domain name. If the domain is claimed by someone else in an auction, you will not be able to renew. If you made a payment in attempt to reclaim the domain out of redemption and were unsuccessful, you will get a refund.

  Can the staff please help me to pay the fee needed so that I can get my domain back? Time is of the essence and I’m afraid that I will lose the domain.

  @sirars I’ve followed up via email, so I’ll go ahead and close this thread, but if anyone else is wondering: once we hear back from you about the paid invoice, it typically takes about 1-2 business days to get the domain back. We work as quickly as possible.
