Renewal of hunan.ca

    Hi there,
    I am asking for help from you to renew the domain of hunan.ca.
    Tom Luo, the owner of hunan.ca, passed away 1 year ago and For sure the renewal reminder email from WordPress.com went into his email box which cannot be accessed by any administrator of hunan.ca.
    Obviously I am the administrator and just found the hunna.ca expired on March 13, 2020 (around 53 days ago). Is there a way to renew such domain and set me as the owner of that domain?
    Please instruct how to proceed.

    I’m sorry to hear about Tom.
    The domain is right now in a state called Redemption and that means we are still able to get it back.
