Renewal of my domain

    Hi, can you please help me out? I dont understand how to renew my domain? I cannot find any renew my domain alternatives, only upgrades.

    Hi there,

    What domain do you want to renew? The account you’re using to post here doesn’t own any domains on WordPress.com.

    If you’re speaking of kjellchristian.com, that domain expired on 8 October and has already been removed from our system. It is currently in redemption with our registrar.

    Please confirm if that’s the domain you’re speaking of, and we can send you a link to pay for the renewal. Once you’ve paid, we can email our domain provider to request that they restore the domain.

    However, we’ll need you to confirm and pay as soon as possible – there are only a few days left until this domain will be completely deleted, and we cannot guarantee that you’ll be able to register it again should that happen.

    Thanks for confirming.

    I’ve sent you a link via email to pay. Normally there would be a $80 redemption fee as well at this point, but our registrar is currently waiving that fee.

    Please let us know here once you’ve completed payment, and we can email our registrar to restore the domain.

    Thank you so much. I have now completed the payment.

    One more thing: I also wonder if it would be easier for me to have a registrar here in Norway? Would that be a problem for the wordpress site? Is it bound to be registered on Wild West Domains?

    If its best to stay at Wild West domains I`ll stay. I just had problems getting in touch with them as I couldnt get through to the supportnumber listed for Norway. And when mailing them about it I got several mails where they told me to contact their support phone (which I was contacting them about not working). In the end I found a mail adress and wrote “support phone not working” in the subject line, and then I finally got answer. Appreciate your advice on this.

    We have partnered with Wild West Domains so that you can register a domain through us. When you need help with your domain you’ll need to contact us not them. If you want to have your domain registered through a local provider, then you can transfer it to one once it’s been restored.
