Renewal of premium plan

  WordPress is asking me to renew my premium plan subscription. This notification goes to the person who originally set up our wordpress account, but this person is no longer managing our website. I want to make this payment, but wordpress says that my account in not associated with this purchase. I am now the administrator of this account. What do I need to do so I can be the one who makes the payment?

  Hello,

  Did the former user transfer the domain to you using the steps outlined here?

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/transfer-a-domain-to-another-wordpress-com-account/

  They will need to authorize WordPress.com to act as their Designated Agent to complete the transfer on your behalf.

  Hi landiswyatt,

  WordPress is asking me to renew my premium plan subscription.

  universaloutreachfoundation.org and the Premium plan are owned by another user of the site — dvanunen. We are only able to make changes to sites and accounts with permission from the owner.

  If you haven’t done so already, please try contacting dvanunen. The plan can be transferred to your ownership but we will need their permission to make this change.
