    I had my subscription renewed automatically and I am trying to request a refund
    I am just trying to see when it will go through

    All information about refunds can be found at https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/.

    If you have successfully requested a refund, then this particular section will explain the time it takes to process.

    How will you refund my payment?

    You will be refunded to the same payment method you used for your purchase. After processing, refunds usually take about ten days to appear on your statement. For credit card refunds, it could take up to 1-2 billing cycles for the refund to show up. International refunds can take even longer to reach you. Your financial institution is going to be able to tell you when to expect the refund and how it will be listed on your statement.

    Can you confirm I had requested a refund. I disputed the payment on PayPal and received an email from you stating I needed to cancel the dispute to receive a refund (I have done this) so is this being processed?

    Unfortunately, I’m just a volunteer, so I can’t do that.

    Your account shows you disputed the payment to WordPress.com and PayPal has issued a chargeback against us:

    Chargebacks and Disputes

    When a chargeback is issued, all upgrades on your account are removed and your site is locked until you pay a chargeback fee or cancel the dispute. Although you have cancelled the dispute with PayPal, this hasn’t come through to our system yet. Until that happens, we cannot issue a refund from our side as the payment is locked. But once it does I will be happy to sort that out for you.

    I’ll check back on your account and let you know when I have an update.

    Hi francescaferraristyle,

    Just to give you an update, the dispute isn’t showing as cancelled on our system yet. When a dispute is cancelled through the PayPal website it is put into a queue, which means PayPal may not have actioned the request yet.

    It may be possible to speed the process up if you are able contact PayPal directly by telephone.

    Sorry we took so long to reply, but it looks like your last to replies wound up in our spam folder so we never saw them.

    I see someone from our billing team has already replied to you via email, but just to confirm, your refund has been processed and you should receive it in about 10 business days.
