renewal process?

    We received an email to renew our annual payment for our website (has been $18) but when I log in it says our website is free and the only payment option is $99 or higher. Is the $18 option gone? The email did not say anything about price change.

    You cannot see the option to renew for the domain subscription because the upgrade is not associated with the account that you are contacting us from. If you log into the account associated with the upgrades, you should be able to see the option to renew for the $18 charge.

    I am confused because I seem to be in the correct account. I logged into the account via the link in the email that said to update payment information. I find the domain and click on it. I then click on payment settings and it takes me to the upgrade page. Then it shows me the upgrades page. I don’t see any other option.

  • Since you are an admin on the account, you have access to see some information, including the upgrade page, payment settings, etc. But the actual upgrades were purchased by the other admin on the account, and it’s through their account that you’ll be able to renew.

    Can you contact the other admin of the account? If you are in charge of the upgrades, they can always transfer them over to you so that you can manage them from your account.

    Same question – but no one in our organization seems to recall who was the admin who purchased the initial plan. We just have a log in that doesn’t show the $18 option. I’ve emailed support several times, as I am in the same position as the initial poster.
    If we can’t access the original admin’s account, how do we proceed with paying our $18?
    Kindly advise asap, as our site is expiring soon. Thank you!

    What I can do is e-mail the address associated with the upgrade letting them know that another admin on their blog is wanting to renew the upgrade. If they no longer want ownership of the upgrade, I can transfer it over to you if they approve it.

    Let me know if that works. We have a little bit of time to get this sorted out before the upgrade expires, so no worries. =)

  • Great! All I would need the owner to do is verify that they want to transfer ownership over to you by posting in this thread or contacting us. Once I receive that verification, I will transfer the subscription over to your account.
