Renewal Refund if Renewal Premature
-
Hi, I signed up for WordPress March 27, 2014. Tonight, on February 26th, I was billed $99 “automatic renewal” of the premium services. The email says it was billed for February 27, yet it is not February 27th yet. I never even used the services unfortunately, and as soon as I got the email I got on to cancel all of the services and the billing. Is there any way I can get a refund, because technically shouldn’t I have been billed in March? I paid $99 in March for a full year of services, and I was charged a month early.

No – Auto renewals are done 30 days early – you still get the full 12 months of services. The 30 days early is in case something goes wrong with the renewal and the renewal fails, you have time to fix the problem.
Changed / canceled credit cards are a common reason for renewal failure.
You should be able to get a refund if you want at
Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades
I will flag this for staff attention in case you need additional help

As auxclass explained, we attempt to renew Upgrades 30 days in advance of expiration so that we have time to contact you in case of any problem with the stored payment details.
I see you’ve issued a chargeback for the early payment. If you want a refund on this renewal, I’m happy to do that. However, I can’t do anything until you cancel your dispute.
If you’d rather go through the dispute process, you likely won’t get a refund for about two months.
Let me know if I can help with anything else!
