Renewal Subscription

I have purchased the domain mapping option with this account. The account shows it is set to manual renewal, however payment for next year was taken automatically from my credit card. I am happy for the continued purchase of domain mapping but could you please clarify the following?
Should the account not show automatic renewal?
How does manual renewal of domain mapping differ from auto renewal?

Hi,
The upgrade was set to auto-renew. The credit card used will expire before the next automatic renewal is set to happen, though, so it has reverted to a manual renewal since it won’t work when the time comes :-).
You can update the credit card details on your Store->My Upgrades page to re-enable Auto-Renew.

Howdy,
Yes, you’ll get a number of reminders, with the first one coming (currently) at 90 days before expiration. We try to make it impossible for the expiration to pass without notice :-)
