Hi there,
I see that you purchased WordPress.com Premium on Jan 9th, 2014, I looked into your account and it is set to expire on Jan. 9th, 2015. I know it says 11 months on your Store > My Upgrades page, but please note that auto-renewals are set to charge your card 30 days in advance in case there are any issues with the transaction so that there are no hiccups with your site. However, you would not lose 30 days because of this.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

In regards to the note above, it does not normally take 30 days to resolve a “hiccup” and if it did, it would be the user’s loss of the site at no cost to WordPress…here, you have a 30 day advanced payment method..whatever…I assume if and when I cancel the subscription it will run to the end of the year long, 12 month agreement.
Now, onto more important issues, I am perplexed that I do not have an ‘easy to get to’ admin panel or Domain Manager for my site. From looking at your instructions it seems that I have to log in three times just to get access. True, I am new to all of this but I know when I am getting multiple prompts and being routed all around the block to perform a simple function. Specifically, I have been advised that I needed a SPF record in my Domain Manager page and I don’t know what a SPF record is but I don’t know how to get to the DM page anyway. -
HI there,
Of course the 12 month agreement will always stand. :) The reason we take extra precaution is due to domain names, which you added with WordPress.com. Please note that this is different from other upgrades and is stated during the purchase process.
Once a domain expires it goes into a pretty complicated process that may take up to 90 days. During this period someone else can actually purchase your domain. Once that happens, you would no longer be the owner, and there’s nothing we can do about it.
Of course when a user fails to renew on time that would be on the user, but we would hate for that to happen, so we try to do what whatever we can to save the domain. However, if you don’t want this auto-renewal, you can always disable it by going to Store > My Upgrades and you will not be charged early.
As for the Domain Manager, it is a bit complicated to get in, but after you logged into your WordPress.com account, it would only be one more log in (to your Domain Manager) after you set up your Customer Number and Password.
However, to add an SPF record, it’s much easier as you can do it directly on your Store > Domains page. In the custom DNS area click on Edit DNS. Please contact your email provider to supply you with the SPF record. Once you have it, you’ll be able to paste into the box on the Custom DNS page.
For e.g., here is the SPF record for someone who uses Google Apps for their email:
TXT v=spf1 include:aspmx.googlemail.com ~all
Your SPF record will look something like that.

Thanks for your earlier response…I understand about the payments but now I have a situation with the email. I purchased this domain and hosting package through WordPress because I thought it would be quicker/easier. You stated that I would have an email account through my site but going with your top of the page recommendation which was Zoho, I am emerged in a complicated and what I consider a convoluted process JUST to get a client to be able to email me through my site. How come you promote this feature but then I seem to have to do all the work and honestly, it is still not up and running. Zoho is very complicated to someone not familiar with the whole email protocol thing. I don’t want to know what a Destination Server is, I just want the right person to push the right button and get it to work. Is this WordPress or is this your responsibility? Thanks.
