Renewed domain on DirectNIC but site not back up

  Hi, my domain expired, so a few days ago I renewed it on DirectNIC. But it’s still not back up. Can you please help?

  Hi there,

  Is this domain mapped to your WordPress.com account? Have you contacted DirectNIC to ensure everything’s all up and working on their end?

  Hi there!

  What I ended up needing to do was log into the WP account of the person who started up the blog initially. At that point I was allowed to map the domain to the WP account. Even though I had access to the WP payment page from my own log in, I just kept getting an error message or getting rerouted to another page.

  At first I thought the mapping would happen automatically after I renewed with DirectNIC, but after 48 hours of it not happening, I realized I needed to do it on the WP site.

  So we’re back up and running now.
