Renewed in error

    Hi there,

    The site quietoptimist is meant to be shut down but every year it is renewed and you bill me for it (62.40).

    Could you please refund this money, and advise on how to best close the account going forward. Thanks.

    Hi there!

    Thanks for getting in touch! It looks like that domain and paid plan is under a different user account than the one you’re currently logged into, so we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. If you recall the account you used to make this purchase, log out of @jamesbollen and into that account to cancel the plan.

    If you don’t remember which account you used and you have the transaction IDs from charges on this account, you can use the Account Recovery form to prove ownership of the site, then WordPress.com support can help you from there. You can find that form here: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery

    Just fill out as much information as you have, including an email address where Support can get in touch. The transaction ID will be on your bank statement as WordPress followed by a ten-digit letter/number code. They’ll look like this: WordPress XXXXXXXXXX
