Renewed Site at Bluehost and WordPress, site still not opening

    I have my site registered with wordpress and bluehost. Bluehost is used to redirect my site from www. whitleydaniellephotography.com to http://www.honeyandfawn.com .

    I had a girl set all this up for me last year and now that I’ve had to renew everything, I can’t even get into the backend at bluehost to post anything. Bluehost has said it’s a WordPress issue and that it point to Wild West Domains which is linked with WordPress from what support at Wild West said. I’m at a loss. I have upgraded on both sites.

    Hi Whitley,

    I see that you have the custom domain whitleydaniellephotography.com registered with us (via Wild West Domains) and the domain honeyandfawn.com registered with Bluehost.

    However, if you follow both of the links I provided, you can see that the nameservers of both domains are pointing to Bluehost, not Wild West Domains. If you visit both domains you listed, it’s pointing to Bluehost, not WordPress.

    So, currently you’re using the WordPress.com (not Bluehost) custom domain whitleydaniellephotography.com to redirect to honeyandfawn.com which is hosted at Bluehost. Your site that you’re trying to access is also hosted at Bluehost, correct?

    If so, you will need to talk to Bluehost about the issue you’re having.

    I’m sure this may be confusing, but please let me know if you have any questions. Hoping that you get this sorted out.

    Bluehost support sent me to talk to WordPress. And now WordPress people are telling me to deal with Bluehost. I’m officially stuck.

    No, you’re not stuck. I’m definitely here to assist you until we get this issue resolved for you. Either we or Bluehost are mistaken. I would relay what I communicated to you and see what they say.

    Just to be clear, you are trying to gain access to a site that is hosted on Bluehost, correct? Because you do have a WordPress.com blog whitleydanielle.wordpress.com, but the address is being forwarded to your custom domain, whitleydaniellephotography.com and the nameservers of that domain is currently pointing to Bluehost.

    Let me know if whitleydanielle.wordpress.com is the site you’re trying to regain access to.
