Renewing an old site
-
I need to get my old site up and running again. I want to sign up for a plan and until I can get signed up…there is no support from wordpress other than read faq. I just need someone to walk me through signing up for my plan, making sure the url address is the same as I have used in the past…and I don’t know how to accomplish this. As I go to create my account it asks if I already have a domain, I want to use a page on my real estate domain that I own as the landing page for my blog. If I answer I already own my domain, it says to transfer it to wordpress…etc, and I want to keep my website as is, just have my blog as one of the selections. My current address of the old blog is https://muletownrealty.wordpress.com I haven’t used it in a while but I own the domain for muletownrealty.com. Can anyone help me?

Hi there,
I can see your domain muletownrealty.com is hosted by GoDaddy.com
If you want to use it for a blog/site here on WordPress.com then you have to either transfer your domain or map it here.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/
https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
For both options you will need to have upgraded WordPress.com plan.
If you transfer domain then you will have to pay only at WordPress.com, but if you only map your domain then you will need to pay at your current provider for domain renewals as well as here at WordPress.com for Plan renewals.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
