renewing blog

Hi, My problem is that I had two blogsnames and I renewed the wrong one two months ago.
I started out with litteranting.wordpress.com. Then i paid more to leave wordpress out and changed the name to Literanti.com. I tried to renew Literanti but apparently something went wrong and now my blog has been closed down and to renewe it i have to pay a huge fine of nearly 70 dollars.
since I did pay for renewal and a simple mistake occured, I ask you to make an execption for me and let me renew the blog for the normal rate of 13 dollars. i already paid 13 dollars too much by renewing the wrong site. Since i have never done anything with Litteranting, I am not sure the mistake was mine. it might have also been a mistake made by yuor software. Please let me know if you can do something for me, otherwise I will not continue with a blog at all because it seems very unfair to be given such a high fine. I see no reason to fine people anyway if they let their blog become dormant and later want ot access it again. howevber in my case I did pay and somethign went wrong.

Please note: any extra charges are not “fines” but are late renewal fees set by the Registrar and WordPress.COM has no say in the amount but simply passes on the extra charge – $ 13.– would have been for domain mapping and not domain registration – both are required for a custom domain name to work
