Renewing domain

    Hello please help with my domain renewal, i’ve last checked it to be on an auto renewal basis and I could still use it up till end March, and now it is suddenly taken off. I really need to get it back asap, please advise how to I go about on the renewal.

    Hey there! I’m sorry, it actually expired back in February. We’d emailed then, but it’s in redemption now:

    I’ve sent an invoice with the renewal and redemption fee. That will restore it again to its original February expiration date. Once you pay that, we’ll work on getting it back for you. We can help you double check your autopay settings are in place once you’ve added those, too.

    Or, you could let the domain continue through the redemption process, but it does take quite a while, and there’s a risk of losing the domain permanently. If you decide to go that route, let us know and we’ll remove the invoice.

    I’ve made the payment because I do need my account back asap, and it’s precisely cause I’ve checked the autopayment function on my account and hence did not take any action. So I find it unfair that I have to pay the additional $80 for the redemption process as my website was still up way beyond the expiry, which made me think that the autopayment was in process. Is there an explanation for this?

    From what I can see, it looks like the card info was updated just recently, but the domain expired back in February. We’d reached out a few times before it expired and just after that. Also, the redemption fees are something we pay the registrar. I can see you’ve taken care of that invoice, though, so we’ll have that restored shortly.

    Hi, thanks, does it take awhile for my blog to be indexed on google search? as I have checked through my settings and it has allowed indexing, however, i cant even find my blog when i search it on google. Is this normal?

    But that’s as much as I’m able to tell you. While your domain is registered with us, your site isn’t hosted on our servers, so we don’t have any control over how it works.

    If you’re using a SEO plugin on that site, please contact their support directly for help with this.

    Else you can ask for advice from the WordPress.org community who makes the version of WordPress you’re using on that site. You can find their forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
