  Thanks for replying. The domain was originally set up for us by a staff’s techie husband, B. J. Stone… It is now managed by Dodd and Carole Shay. Alaska Assistance Dogs is a 15 year old 501c3 nonprofit.

  Searching further after my note I found that we are on a free account. The confusion came when I looked up our history and 2015 (and previous years) showed a $13.00 payment. I’m not savvy to what this is about, I run the nonprofit and keep the website going (not well, but it works for a now one-person nonprofit).

  So I would love to learn more. We retired from a large effort training service dogs and all our young volunteer trainers moved on to LLCs. We focus on information about service dogs and do canine therapeutic programs. Pretty simple site now.

  Is it possible for you to get in contact with Mr. Stone and have him transfer the site over to you? Or, if he can post in this thread and verify that you guys have taken over the domain, I’d be happy to make the transfer for you. I just need confirmation from the owner that they are wanting to relinquish ownership of alaskaassistancedogs.org to you all.

  When the couple left AAD the domain was transferred. We’re in Alaska and husband is still asleep… Will have him look at your last post and either contact B.J. for the date it was transferred (years I would guess) and if he would verify it for you.
