Renewing Domain
-
I missed out on my renewal for my website back in February. Now that I’m trying to get it back, I can’t seem to find a way to go back to the plan I had. I was paying for domain registration and mapping. Is there a way to just continue the service?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When you allow your domain expire, it then goes through a process that can take several months to complete described at https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/. To recover it requires that you agree to pay a redemption fee set by the domain name registrar that wordpress.COM staff cannot waive.
I’ve tagged this thread in the sidebar with modlook for Staff attention.
If you’re logged into the account that is associated with your expired domain, they will look up its status and get in touch with details.
If you are not logged in under the correct username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into the associated account, and provide the domain URL here.

Hello Michael,
highscoresbr.com expired on 2017-01-31. It was possible to recover the domain for some weeks after its expiration — but due to the length of time that has passed this is not possible as we no longer control the domain.
If a domain is not redeemed by the original registrant it is usually then returned to the pool of available domain names and can be registered again on a first-come, first-served basis.
I just checked and highscoresbr.com is currently available to register — if you want to use it, I’d recommend registering the domain quickly.
I was paying for domain registration and mapping.
It’s now only possible to register a domain with a paid plan — Personal, Premium or Business. Starting by choosing a plan and then add the domain:

Let me know if you have any questions.
