Renewing domain after it has expired

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi,

I have been locked out of my gmail account and only just gained access today, and received an email to renew my domain as my website and business emails went down over the weekend.

When I click on the renew domain option I can’t see how to renew the actual domain I can get the domain mapping purchased again but can’t see the actual domain. I realise this may be out of the grace period (expired 3 weeks ago but have been receiving business emails etc until the weekend), but I really just need to get this purchased today so that my web developer can go in gain access to my account and change the name servers etc.

Please can some one assist me on this? I have been trying unsuccessfully all weekend and am going quite mad. I really need your help

    Thanks
    Matty

Is djdispensary.com the domain in question?

OK thanks. yes that is the domain in question.

  • Our records show that djdispensary.com expired on 16-sep-2016.

Domain expiration is a lengthy and complicated process that takes about 80 days. During this time, your domain may be put up for auction or sold on back-order.

You can learn more about domain expiration here:

    Domain Expiration

The good news is that we may still be able to recover your domain if it has not yet been deleted or purchased by someone else.

A late renewal fee of $80 will be added to the regular price of renewal. This fee is charged by the domain registry and is not one that we can waive.

The total price will be $98, which is $18 for the regular renewal, plus the $80 late renewal fee. If you do not wish to pay the $80 fee, you may let the domain expiration process continue and attempt to register the domain again at the regular price, once it has completely expired. Please note that someone else may purchase the domain first, in which case you will be unable to register it again.

Let me know what you would like to do.
