Hi there! My Domain name has expired because I was under the impression that my website guys took care of this part of the process. My domaine name is http://www.struthairandart.com. I desperately need to renew that domain so that my business can be back online. I can renew and pay for my renewal immedietely and would just like to know how to go about doing this. I am finding this site is taking me in circles.

  • Hi there,

Our records show that struthairandart.com expired on April 10, 2018.

Domain expiration is a lengthy and complicated process that takes about 80 days. During this time, your domain may be put up for auction or sold on back-order.

You can learn more about domain expiration here:

    Domain Expiration

However, the good news is that we may still be able to recover your domain if it has not yet been deleted or purchased by someone else.

A late renewal fee of $80 will be added to the regular price of renewal. This fee is charged by the domain registry and is not one that we can waive.

The total price will be $106, which is $26 for the regular renewal, plus the $80 late renewal fee.

I have already sent you an email with a payment link. Please reply back if you have submitted the payment so that we can begin the recovery process.

If you have any other questions, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help.

    Hi there,

Thanks for helping me recover the domain. I’m a bit unclear as to how I can change the DNS information as I don’t see the domain listed within my account.

    Thank.

  • @jonnarogersborchman, thanks for getting back to us. Now that you’ve paid the fee, we do still need to reach out to the registrar to ask them to return the domain.

We’ll do that and follow up with you when we hear back.

Sounds good. I just checked within my account and can see the struthairandart.com domain in there but when I go into the Domain Settings, a page comes up with blocks (looks like blank text boxes) that I cannot do anything with. Is the reason that this is happening because of the registrar returning the domain, or am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks for you help!

  • It’s probably because the domain wasn’t fully restored just yet, but I did just hear back from the registrar and it’s working now, showing your new site and all.

You might need to close and re-open your browser, or even wait a few hours before your computer “refreshes” its domain information so that you can see the site, but I can see it’s working here.

One more question: right now struthairandartdotcom.wordpress.com is operating as a separate site. Do you want to keep that or do you want to redirect to the new site? If you want the new site to appear, you can just make your custom domain “primary” and our system will take care of the rest for you.

Let us know if you need help with this.
