Hey there, this domain is past its grace period actually. It’s already in redemption. Do you want to go ahead and pay the redemption fee? It’s $80 plus the original renewal fee. The other option is to wait out redemption and hope no one buys the domain. Let us know what you want to do and we’ll go from there.

Please read https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/#redemption-period
Allowing a domain to expire
When you allow your domain expire, it then goes through a process that can take several months to complete described at https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/. Please read that support doc.If you are in the grace period you will not have to agree to pay a redemption fee set by the domain name registrar that wordpress.COM staff cannot waive.
Otherwise, if you want Staff to try to recover the domain for you then you will have to agree to pay the redemption fee.
If you’re logged into the account that is associated with your expired domain, they will look up its status and get in touch with details.
If you are not logged in under the correct username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into the associated account, and provide the domain URL here.
If you did not register the site under your username account and do not have the required access, then you need to contact the person who registered the account and site under it, and have them act or transfer the site to your username account by using this process. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account

Hi there ,
You can read that here https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/#redemption-period

Hi there,
Domains usually stay in redemption for about 30 days, but we don’t control that process so I cannot tell you at exactly what date the domain will be released.
Also note that the moment it’s released it can be registered by anyone again, so you run a very real risk of losing the domain. There are people on the web who make their income by placing existing domains on back order. That way the moment a domain goes through redemption and is released, they register it before anyone else can, and then they try to sell it back to the original owner at a profit.
In order to avoid losing your domain in that way, we recommend you redeem it instead, but it’s your choice.

Can I please go ahead and pay for my domain? I need to know how to go about paying for it please.
Thank you so much. $80 for pulling it out of redemption plus the domain fee. What is the total?

Good morning –
The total price will be $106. The redemption fee is $80 plus the annual domain registration fee of $26. Is that alright?
I’ve gone ahead and sent a note on to our domain partner to request for your domain to be reinstated. Typically we hear back from them in 2-3 days.
As soon as we hear back we will be in touch. I am going to email you a manual payment link to the address connected with this user account.

Ok – I’ve just sent the email to you with the payment link. Let me know if you do not receive it.

Hi I’m having the same issue. We thought it was on auto pay and it turns out it wasn’t. I’m unable to renew it from my dashboard – would love some help!
THANK YOU -

Thanks! We’ll close this one to avoid confusion and avoid barraging the original poster with notifications that are now irrelevant to them. Cheers :)
