Renewing my account

I have gotten an email saying that my site will automatically renew for $18.. is the $18 an annual fee? I’ve noticed with the current plan, I am charged for many of the plugins I want to use. Are there more free plugins with the premium upgrade? I’ll host somewhere else if I have the amount for hosting at premium rate and cost of plugins is too high.

The only plan that allows you to use plugins on WordPress.com is the Business Plan and its price is different from the price you quoted.

The account you’re using to post here does not own any domains. The domain, friendsofpensacolastateparks.org, and the WordPress.com site connected to it, belongs to a different account, karacederquist.
That site is on the WordPress.com Free Plan, and sites on that plan cannot use any plugins. To use plugins on WordPress.com your site has to be on the Business Plan, but that plan does not include use of any premium plugins made by other companies – if you want to use premium plugins you need to buy them directly from the companies that make them. This would be true no matter who you use for hosting.
On WordPress.com you do not pay for hosting at all. You only pay for the additional features added to your site by a particular plan.

If you do not want the domain to renew, you need to log into the karacederquist account that owns that domain and cancel it. I cannot disable automatic renewal on that domain at your request, as your account is not the owner.
