Renewing my domain name

Hi, I want to renew my domain name ‘yes2exams.org’ (which I have been paying for five years and which has now expired) and it costs $18.00, according to the message I received via email. However, when I want to renew it, I only have the option of upgrading it, which has a higher cost, that is, $48. Why is that and how can I solve this? Thank you.

Your domain has expired back in April and so it’s not possible to renew it anymore, you would be registering it again.
Things have changed quite a bit since you have registered the domain for the first time tough. The $48 is the price of Personal plan – the domain is included in it for the first year. You’d pay $48 + $18 from the second year.
You can also opt for registering only the domain, however, you won’t be able to use it as your primary address on a free plan.
