  CAn you please assist with renewing my domain name or remove your splash page from the roguesimian.wordpress.com page,.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  After 259 days the domain name has most likely expired, so there’s nothing to renew. You can reregister and map the domain name if it is still available. http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/register-domain/

  If you don’t want to reregister the domain name and wish to have Staff remove the expired domain overlay on roguesimian.wordpress.com please return to the forum thread and add the MODLOOK tag to the Tags section of the forum thread sidebar. That will alert Staff for their assistance.

  Staff are currently away until 21st October, but are looking in from time to time, so you may not get a quick reply.

  roguesimianproductions.wordpress.com doesn’t exist. I found the overlay at roguesimian.wordpress.com

  Is roguesimian.wordpress.com the correct site?

  roguesimian.com – seems to be available for purchase – it can not be renewed

  try registering it again – and see what happens

  sometimes old domain names can hang around in the database and a bit of help from the staff is needed to clear the old junk so the name can be purchased again – since this is flagged for the staff they can help with that if you want

  roguesimian.wordpress.com is the correct site. Apologies for the confusion. I am just after the overlay to be removed at this stage but may renew the domain shortly. Cheers for your help.

  roguesimian.com – seems to be available for purchase – it can not be renewed

  you need to start over and register it again like you did when you first registered it

  @rachelmcr – I saw the site yesterday on the domain name roguesimian.com after the above exchange- that no longer loads for me now.

  @justjennifer — Huh, I’m not sure how that was possible. The domain expired in January and from what I see it’s not registered anywhere else (it’s available to register again as a new domain).
