Renewing my Premium Account

    I just received the following notice via an email:

    The domain upgrade on your blog ‘Thoughts From a Resident Alien’ has expired yesterday on October 2, 2017. Your blog is no longer available on the domain ‘lynngreen.net’.

    But when I have tried to log into my account in recent weeks, I have been notified that I ‘don’t have any WordPress sites yet’. So I have not been able to renew, but I definitely want to! What should I do?

    Hi lynngreen2,

    Your blog is no longer available on the domain ‘lynngreen.net’.

    The upgrades for lynngreen.net were purchased using a different account to the one you are contacting us from. Please login to the other account using the email address the renewal reminders were sent to.

    Come back to me if you have any problems logging in.

    Thanks so much. Your comments helped me to double check and I found that my gmail account was registered rather than my MS Office 365 email address. So I went in to my gmail account, found the original and clicked on the hyper link to renew premium and it took me to an account (Lynn Green @lynncgreen) that will not allow me to reinstate premium. How do I get to the right account? My problems arise because the guy who was helping me with all this is not currently available.

    Hi lynncgreen,

    Thanks for logging in. Your account shows the Premium plan and domain mapping upgrade for lynngreen.net expired 23 days ago, which is why you are no longer able to renew through your Manage Purchases page.

    If you would like to map lynngreen.net to lynngreendotnet.wordpress.com again, you will need to purchase a new plan:

    https://wordpress.com/plans

    Then choose the domain mapping option on your Domains page:

    https://wordpress.com/domains/add/
