renewing only domain, not mapping

  hi, I’d like to know if Domain Mapping needs to be renewed yearly as Domain Registration and Private Registration.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  When managing domains on WordPress.com, domain mapping must always be included and renewed annually.

  You can purchase domain mapping by itself (with no registration) if you’ve registered a domain elsewhere, but you cannot maintain the domain registration without the domain mapping.

  I can however deactivate the private registration if you’d like.
