renewing purchased domain

  Can’t see how to renew my upgraded domain? I’ve looked at the domain settings/managing my domain/etc and don’t see where to pay . I’m worried about it expiring in 9 days. Thank you.

  Hi there,

  The reason you’re having this issue is because your domain was actually purchased by a different user on your blog. Therefore only they can manage the domain.

  At this point there are a few options:

  1. Of course the domain can be allowed to expire. Not usually something which you want to have happen! :(
  2. You can reach out to the person who purchased it and ask them to renew it for you.
  3. I can reach out to the person who purchased it and ask them if it’s OK if I transfer the upgrade to your account. You will be taking possession of this domain (it will be yours) as well as the responsibility for its upkeep (aka its renewal).
