renewing the domain mapping

  I am one of 2 admins to our non-profit website. When I was added as an admin, I was told I had to create my own wordpress website in order to have a username to be able to be added as an admin to our company site. So I did that and have had no problems. We received an email that it is time to renew our ‘domain mapping’ with a link to click on. But when I click on the link it takes me to the page that shows my personal website and on the left it has the menu (‘my profile, account settings’ etc). I am never given the option to renew the domain mapping for our company page. My uncle has done it before but I need to learn how to do it so that’s why I’m trying to do it, he says it’s only $13 but I can’t find it anywhere. Can someone help?

  Hi there,

  I would be happy to assist you in renewing your subscription. However, the upgrade that was purchased is not associated with the account you contacted us from. Although you are an admin under the account, only the owner of the upgrade can. To confirm ownership, post in this thread under the username/account that purchased the upgrade. Then, I can look into renewing the subscription upgrade. However, you should be able to renew the domain if logged into the account that owns the upgrade. The person who added you as an admin most likely is the user who can either renew the domain or transfer the subscription over to you so that you can renew.

  Thank you for the reply so I can’t do the renewal for the domain mapping whoever owns the account would have to do it?

  Hi there,

  That is correct. What is the URL of the domain you all are wanting to renew? There hasn’t been a current mapping subscription under the owner’s account in years.
