renovation of my subscription

Hi there. I received this email saying that my WordPress account will be renovated soon, but for now, I need to cancel the service and not renovate it, as I’m not really using it. However, wanted to ask if it’s possible to just pay for the domain to not lose it? Thanks in advance!

What website are you referring to?
If you are using WordPress.com, you can turn off automatic renewals as described here: https://wordpress.com/support/manage-purchases/#automatic-renewal.
If you stop paying for the plan, you can still pay for domain renewal and domain will be available. The only difference is that with a free plan and custom domain like example.com all your visitors will be redirected to a free website address, like currrent-website.wordpress.com. So visitors will be able to reach your website under example.com, but they will be redirected and will always see “.wordpress.com” in address bar.

It is very much possible to renew only the domain to reserve.
There are two ways to renew
- Go to your account location and Click on Purchases. Here you can see Renew Now option to renew the domain for another year.
- Go to My sites -> Upgrades -> Domains. Click on the desired domain and you can see a button to renew it.

I don’t see any sites or domains under the account you’re reaching out from.
