reordering product options

    hello! i was wondering if there was a way to sort product options? currently it appears that it’s going in alphabetical order and while that makes sense, it appears strange when selecting a size.

    For example, we offer S, M, L, XL, 2XL, etc.

    We would like it to appear in that order. But since it is alphabetical, 2XL appears first because it starts with a number.

    Here’s an example of one of our products so you can see what I’m talking about:

    City of Los Angeles Single Print Short Sleeve T-Shirt

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

    Sure thing. That’s a great question. Yes, the product variations can be ordered with a few different options. Read the custom attributes piece of the variable product support page here: https://woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/

    That’s how you can order the sizes anyway you want. Write back if you need more help.

    Thanks for the response!

    So it looks like I would have to add them as custom attributes to sort them how I want?

    The size field was set as a global attribute by default. My concern is that I would now have to remove this global attribute and then add it as a custom attribute. This would then force me to redo all of the variant SKUs correct? In this example there are 8 sizes with 20 color variations which is 160 variants. That’s a lot of SKUs, and this is just a single product.

    Is there a workaround for this? Maybe even a way to update SKUs via CSV upload or something similar? Doing it manually in pages of 15, product by product, was quite tedious.
