Repair wordpress url
-
Hi,
I was in the process of trying to replace my live site with my staging site. I use cPanel. My staging site was on a separate database, fresh wordpress install etc.
The main site url was http://www.AAA.com while the staging site was staging.AAA.com.
In wordpress (staging site), I changed the WordPress Address and Site Address from ‘staging.AAA.com’ to ‘www.AAA.com’. Now when I try to login to wordpress, I am unable to login to either site.
Am I able to access and change the necessary settings through cpanel to fix this?
Thanks. -
I found the solution using ‘Method 2’ at the following:

Hi there,
You have reached the site support forum for sites hosted at WordPress.com. Please note that we do not have cPanel here on WordPress.com, so it sounds like you are referring to a self-hosted WordPress site, which are sites that you create on a “traditional web host” like Bluehost, GoDaddy, etc.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities, but the essential difference is that we don’t have access to all WordPress sites, only the ones hosted on our WordPress.com servers. See http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ for more info.
You may wish to contact your hosting support team for direct assistance; they would be in the best position to help with your cPanel issue.
Hope this helps point you in the right direction!
