Repeat of Featured Posts

  Hi, so when I tag a post as featured, it correctly displays on my featured slider on the home page, though curiously, the post is also displayed regularly in the traditional scroll down blog format. So what I’m asking is: How can I get my post to only be displayed on the slider? It doesn’t seem to be happening to anyone else using the theme so why is this happening to me? Help would greatly be appreciated.

  That’s not curious at all. When posts are featured on the front page they are not displayed a second time on the same page in the stream of posts.

  What I am saying is that for me, my featured posts ARE displaying a second time on the same page in the stream of posts. The post is entitle ‘smocktopus’ and it is displayed in both the featured content slider, and the stream of posts below.
