Repeated attempted hacks to our account
-
Upon first getting a WordPress account we all downloaded the app a total of 20 people control the blog and I am the sole administrator. One of the authors informed me that when he attempted to download the latest update for the app out Kaspersky lit up warning him of a Trojan virus when I attempted it the same thing occurred and when I view the network monitor the charts were haywire, as a former hacker I am not naïve and I know something is amiss here. I ran a full review of our whole system and 11 vulnerabilities were found all from the WordPress app.
Is this a common problem that your team is aware of?
In doing our research we found several complaints about hacked WordPress accounts, is this something WordPress plans to address?
We found that when using Tor Browser a great deal if not all of these vulnerabilities are crippled by Tor’s secure network which borderline undeniably confirms that this is a network is correct?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Which app are you referring to? WordPress.com offers apps for iOS, Android, and various desktop operating systems. Let us know which one gave you trouble and we’ll check it out.
As for the WordPress software itself, do note there’s a difference between WordPress.org installations (which a user needs to maintain on their own) and WordPress.com (which we offer as a service, including maintenance and security.) If someone is running their own out of date installation, it can be vulnerable. I’m guessing that’s most of what you saw re: WordPress vulnerabilities, but if not, let us know. The WordPress community is quick to offer patches, too.

When I download it from the website I'm alerted of a virus everything this would be the WordPress desktop app.
Thanks!
