Repeated Confirmation Emails?

Hi,
I’ve been receiving emails daily to confirm my subscription to TheKonaShopper.com, even though I didn’t sign up for them. Everyday I go in and delete it from my account, and every morning I have a new confirmation email in my inbox. What’s going on? Is there a way to permanently block TheKonaShopper.com?

No, I haven’t removed it from that page, because it never makes it to that page. I’ve been deleting it from the Pending page. Perhaps I should just confirm and then set it to not send anything. However, I still find it disconcerting that I’m somehow being subscribed to that blog every day 😳

Thanks for reaching out. This site is not hosted with WordPress.com and does not appear to be using Jetpack. If the email is coming from WordPress.com there should be an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the page.

There isn’t an unsubscribe link. I can update my subscription options, but that doesn’t fix the fact that I am receiving daily opt-in emails like this one: https://postimg.org/image/rgb2p4e2z/

Email Your Customized List or Questions.
You could use that form to ask how to unsubscribe form the daily emails you are receiving. Have you tried that? -

Sadly, I received another one within hours of you removing it from my subscription confirmation screen :(
Do you think if I just leave it pending confirmation, will I stop receiving these emails every day?

For the time being, I’ll leave the Kona Shopper in my waiting to be confirmed list. That seems to keep the emails from being sent over and over. -
I have some news :)
So, it looks like your email address is pre filled in the 404 error page. This is the page a user sees anytime they mistype a link for the site. For example: http://thekonashopper.com/hwbrfkjbwkf
My guess is that users are stumbling upon this and submitting it – and you get the email.
I noticed you don’t have any subscription forms anywhere else. Do you really want to allow subscriptions? If not, you can disable the whole thing at Jetpack > Settings > Engagement.
