Repeated text on home page

I have set my home page as a static page. However, the text I have written for that page appears three times in sequential blocks, and I only want it to appear once. I can find no way to delete the repeated text. I found a post related to this on the forum with a fix involving the deletion of corrupted pages and the creation of new pages, but I can find no instruction about how to do this. (see https://wordpress.org/support/topic/main-page-repeats-the-test-i-type-three-times/). Can anyone provide a procedure for this.

Can you please confirm the URL of your website? The forum link you have mentioned is for a self-hosted WordPress website.
