repeatedly losing connection to wordpress. com
-
Hi –
About two days ago I started having minor issues connecting to WordPress.com. Today it is much worse, and I’m having trouble accessing the forums too. This is happening in Internet Explorer AND Chrome, with Error 404 / page unavailable messages respectively. As far as I can tell this is not cache related (that is, clearing cache doesn’t resolve the issue), and I’m not experiencing problems accessing other sites or the internet generally.
I appreciate this could be connected with the storm a few nights ago, (I’m in SE England) but, as I say, does seem specific to WordPress which would seem to rule that out(?).
I know there were similar problems recently related to certain ISP’s – i.e., my own provider, Talk Talk – but thought this issue was resolved now?
Oh, having now actually accessed my website I’m getting ‘connection lost’ messages in the dashboard/edit page…
Any help / explanation appreciated.
