repeating visitor behavior

    Hi there,

Seeing a repeating visitor/view pattern, been going on for about a month or so. Many hits on same page, then radiating out (I’m guessing it starts with the one page, but they may be landing on the homepage first–sometimes it’s a tie between the one page, which is a few years old, and the homepage), and then there are usually a few other certain posts, all of them older, that come up, though none as frequently as this one particular page. I thought maybe, since the first one is a book review, and it started with the return to school, a professor or two had it on their syllabi… but the hits keep coming, and always in this pattern. So then I wondered if there was a list of popular pages on my site somewhere that kept leading people to these particular posts, but I don’t see one. Maybe it doesn’t show up in the author’s view? The “related posts” don’t get you to these other pages from the #1 page they seem to be hitting.

Or is this some strange kind of spam attack where they aren’t quite getting through but keep trying?

    Thoughts? Thanks!
