Replace deleted media but keep original URL

  I want to replace deleted media but use same URL for new media. When replace media, I can’t use the same URL as original media, so I have to update links. Suggestions?

  using the exact same URL for media that you upload today to replace media that you uploaded a year ago can’t be done. that requires FTP access that you don’t have here

  the reason for the difference in the URL for media is that the media is uploaded to a folder that has the year and month as part of the path and the path can’t be edited that I am aware of
