Replace Domain with newdomian.wordpress.com

We need to replace the currentsubdomain.wordpress.com with something like newdomain.wordpress.com. How do we manage this process?

Let’s me clear about this. The Top Level Domain here is http://wordpress.com. All blogs being free hosted by WordPress.com are on .wordpress.com sub-domains.
If all you want to do is change .wordpress.com blog addresses then see here > changing a blog address Pay close attention to this:

However, if you purchase your own domain name via domain mapping upgrade then it does not matter ata ll what the underlying .wordpress.com sub-fomain URL is.
